This method is based on the ability of water-soluble antiseptic to penetrate into the depth of timber, dissolving with in its tissues moist. In processing of using of wood preservative pastes impregnation speed depends on the level of humidity of wood (higher humidity and the speed of impregnation is faster). In the best conditions (moisture content of wood more than 40-50% and a temperature of 18 ° C) diffusion of antiseptic in timber carried an average of 1 mm per day. Thus, posts and rails, processed with “Lidaka” or “Store”, soaked in the entire thickness of the sapwood for 2-3 months, and this penetration does not require a special time, as it occurs in structures in the service timber.
